Wheat bran is an excellent source of fiber which helps to lose weight, keeps blood glucose levels under control and improves the gut health. Spinach is rich in potassium that helps in the proper functioning of muscles and nervous system. Cottage cheese or paneer provides protein and calcium important for the muscles and bones. This whole recipe is very nutrient-rich and healthy.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Wheat Bran Flakes - 1 tsp
  • Wheat Flour - 2 tbsp
  • Cottage Cheese, grated - 1 tbsp
  • Spinach, chopped - ¼ bunch
  • Onion, finely chopped - ¼ medium
  • Ginger, finely chopped - ½ tsp
  • Garlic, finely chopped - ½ tsp
  • Green chilli, finely chopped - ½ tsp (alter as per taste)
  • Salt - use minimum, to taste
  • Olive Oil - ½ tsp

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Pre-heat oven. Mix wheat bran, wheat flour, cottage cheese, spinach, onion, green chilli, ginger, garlic and salt in a bowl.  Step 2 Mash all these ingredients together. Shape the mixture into cutlets. Grease the baking dish with a little oil.  Step 3 Bake cutlets till gulden brown on both sides. Serve hot.
