Almonds contain vitamin E which is a potent antioxidant and can help to prevent cognitive decline in old age. Almonds are also low in the glycemic index and hence can be incorporated as a mid-morning/evening snack option for diabetics. 

INGREDIENTS:
  • Almond milk / Low fat milk - 1 cup
  • Banana [sliced] - 1 no.
  • Oats [rolled] - 2 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder - a pinch
  • Cardamon powder - a pinch
  • Ice cubes - as required
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 In a blender, combine the oats, milk, banana, ice, and spices.  Step 2 Blend until you get a smooth consistency. Step 3 Enjoy culd!
