An excellent source of dietary fiber, it also contains twice the calcium of spinach, beta-carotene of broccoli, and the potassium of a banana. Karela is rich in antioxidants and vitamins A and C, which are good for the skin. It reduces aging and fights acne and skin blemishes. It is useful in treating various skin infections like ringworm, psoriasis, and itching. Karela juice adds luster to the hair and combats dandruff, hair loss, and split ends. It’s a superfood for diabetes and helps lower blood glucose levels. As it is low in calories it also helps in the management of obesity and helps prevent weight gain. It also strengthens the immune system. 

INGREDIENTS:
  • Bitter gourd [deseeded and chopped] - 2 tbsp.
  • Ginger [minced] - 1 tsp 
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp 
  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Pepper [crushed] - ¼ tsp
  • Water - to adjust the consistency

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Blend the chopped bitter gourd, minced ginger, salt, turmeric, and pepper with enough water. Adjust the consistency to the drinkable one. Step 2 Strain this juice and add the lemon juice and mix well. Step 3 Your juice is now ready.
