Bottle gourd is low in calories and fat. It is filled with 90% of water. Also low in carbohydrates. Extremely beneficial for hypertension and heart– with extremely low levels of sodium, this vegetable is highly suitable for those with high BP. It is alkaline in nature and high in vitamin C.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Dudhi [peeled and chopped] - 1 katori 
  • Mint leaves [minced] - 2 tsp 
  • Cumin powder - ½ tsp 
  • Pepper [crushed] - ¼ tsp 
  • Ginger [minced] - 1 tsp 
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • Salt - as per taste 
  • Chilled water - 150 ml 
  • Ice cubes - as required 

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 In a blender take 1 Katori peeled and chopped dudhi. Step 2 Add mint leaves, cumin powder, crushed pepper, finely minced ginger, a pinch of salt, and lemon juice. Step 3 Add chilled water and blend smoothly. Finally, pour dudhi juice into a glass with a few ice cubes.
