The Health Benefits of eating poultry are many. Chicken Bhuna masala recipes it is not only high in the protein found in chicken but also low in calories, containing healthy fats. More importantly, chicken is the best lean protein meat that can be consumed in any form. Grilled or boiled chicken in low fat sauce and essential nutrients from the added vegetables, makes it an ideal dish for weight management.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Boneless and skinless chicken breasts [cube] - 50g
  • Onion [chopped] - 1 tbsp 
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Dried chili flakes - 1 tsp
  • Garlic [crushed] - 2 cloves
  • Tomatoes [puree] - ½ cup
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Pepper - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice - squeeze as per taste
  • Oil - ½ tsp
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Cook the chicken until tender.  Step 2 When the chicken is nearly cooked, add the onion, peppers, garam masala, garlic, chili, and stir-fry for a few minutes.  Step 3 Now add the tomatoes, salt and pepper, and a dash of lemon juice.  Step 4 Bring to the boil then simmer very slowly for an hour or so until the sauce is reduced by half to give a thick consistency and concentrated flavor. Step 5 Serve hot!
