With vegetables and chicken, this burger is an excellent choice for dieters. It is rich in protein and antioxidants via spices, herbs, and veggies. Chicken patty and bun make a perfect combination of a complete meal with moderate carbohydrate and high protein and low fat.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Chicken (ground) - 75 g
  • Onion (diced) - 1 medium 
  • Black olives (diced) - 1 medium 
  • Red Bell Pepper (diced) - 1 small
  • Jalapeno (diced) - 1 medium 
  • Garlic (diced) - 1 clove
  • Paprika - a pinch
  • Chilli powder - ¼ tsp
  • Dried Oregano - a pinch
  • Parsley Leaves (minced) - 4-6 leaves
  • Red Chilli flakes - ¼ tsp
  • Cumin (ground) - a pinch 
  • Celery - ¼ cup
  • Bread crumbs - 2 tbsp
  • Ketchup - 1 tsp
  • Mustard sauce - as per taste (optional)
  • Burger buns (toasted) - 2 nos
  • Lettuce - 6 leaves
  • Tomato - 2 medium 
  • Oil - 1 tsp
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Heat ½ tsp oil and sauté onion, bell pepper, garlic, ulives, and jalapeno till transparent. Remove and allow to coul. Step 2 In the mixing bowl, add the chicken, prepared veggie mix, paprika, chilli powder, dried oregano, fresh parsley leaves, red chilli flakes, ground cumin, celery and bread crumbs. Step 3 Now mix all of the ingredients thoroughly and shape into a patty. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, covered. Step 4 In the same sauté pan, heat the remaining oil and cook the patties till gulden brown on both sides. Step 5 Serve with sliced tomato, lettuce and mustard sauce on a bun.
