This recipe is protein-rich with chicken and cheese. Onions are rich in oligosaccharides which are prebiotics that improve gut health. Pesto is flavorful and is high in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, iron and packed with antioxidants.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Pesto sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Whole Wheat Pizza base - 1 no
  • Chicken Breast strips (cooked) - 50 g
  • Onion (chopped) - 1 big
  • Basil leaves - 3 no
  • Cheese (shredded)- 1 tbsp
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Spread pesto sauce over the pizza crust. Step 2 Arrange chicken pieces and onion over the sauce, and sprinkle with cheese and basil leaves. Step 3 Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until the cheese, is melted and lightly browned at the edges.
