A super healthy combination of corn, rava and fresh curd that are high in protein and fiber. The curd is a probiotic food that improves gut health and boots immunity. Corn is high in fiber, low in fat and a great source of essential nutrients offering an array of health benefits. It contains high amount of carbohydrates which provide you with short-term and long-term energy.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Sweet corn kernels - 1 cup
  • Semolina (rava) - 2 tbsp
  • Fresh curd - ½ cup
  • Ginger paste - ¼ tsp
  • Green Chilli paste - 1 tsp
  • Fruit salt - a pinch
  • Baking powder - ¼ tsp
  • Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 tbsp 
  • Lime Juice - ¼ tsp 
  • Oil for greasing
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water as required
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Combine the sweet corn kernels and curds and blend in a mixer and blend to a smooth paste. Step 2 Transfer the paste into a deep bowl, add the rava, salt, green chilli paste, ginger paste and ¼ cup of water and mix well. Step 3 Just before steaming, sprinkle the fruit salt, add baking powder, lemon juice and 2 tsp of water over the batter. When the bubbles form, mix gently. Step 4 Pour the batter immediately into a greased thali and tilt the thali clockwise to spread the batter in an even layer. Step 5 Steam in a steamer for 10 minutes or till the dhoklas are cooked. Step 6 Coul slightly, cut into squares pieces and garnish with coriander.
