Cumin seeds also contain iron which is an essential mineral for lactating mothers. Iron deficiency in lactating women can lead to anemia and can make breastfeeding a challenge. Cumin seeds help restore the iron levels.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Water[filtered] – 1 liter
  • Cumin seeds[jeera] – 1 tsp
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Add cumin seeds to one liter of filtered water. Bring the mixture to boil. Step 2 Lower the flame and let the mixture simmer for another 5 minutes. Step 3 Remove from the heat and let it coul till the water is lukewarm. Step 4 Pour through a sieve and keep in a thermos so that it stays warm for several hours. Take sips of this water all through the day.
