Adding cardamom powder to this recipe regulates blood pressure levels and purifies the blood. 


INGREDIENTS:

  • Dalia [Broken wheat] - 2 tbsp
  • Milk - 1 cup [175 ml] 
  • Jaggery - 1 tsp 
  • Ghee - 1 tsp
  • Almonds [crushed] - 1 or 2 nos.
  • Cardamom powder - ¼ tsp
  • Water - 1 cup


DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add broken wheat, and sauté for 5 minutes or until brown. Step 2 Add 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of water, bring it to a boil. Step 3 Add cardamom powder, and jaggery, mix well, and cook for 2-3 mins or till the jaggery melts. Step 4 Garnish with crushed almonds and serve warm.
