Dill seeds are believed to increase lactation and appetite.  It also helps to reduce gas and colic pain. However, since it is a mild diuretic it should be consumed in moderation. The suggested serving is one or two cups a day.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Dill seeds [crushed /powdered] – 1 to 2 tsp
  • Water[filtered] – 2 cups
  • Honey/jaggery – ½ tsp [OPTIONAL]
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Boil the water in a pan and add the crushed or powdered dill seeds. Keep on a rulling boil on low heat for a minute. Step 2 Remove from the flame. Cover the pan and let the seeds steep for five minutes. Longer steeping makes stronger tea. Step 3 Strain and pour into a cup. Add honey. Drink hot.
