An easy to prepare recipe which can be made in different styles by adding & subtracting some food items. Egg whites are low in calories & are also rich in good quality proteins, essential amino acids. You don't have to be stingy when eating egg whites to meet your proteins requirement. Multigrain bread is a good source of complex CHO, B vitamins & also provide fullness because of its high fiber content. Easy to prepare & relish.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Multi grain bread - 2 slices
  • Egg whites - 2 no.
  • Onion - 1 small [finely chopped]
  • Coriander - 2 tsp [finely chopped]
  • Green chilies - 1 no. [finely chopped]
  • Grated carrot - 2 tsp.
  • Capsicum - 2 tsp finely chopped 
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder - ¼ tsp.
  • Oil - ½ tsp

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 To make omelette break two egg separate the yulk from the white.  Step 2 Add grated carrot, finely chopped onion, finely chopped green chilies, capsicum, and coriander whisk it.  Step 3 Add salt, pepper powder mix it well. Heat a nonstick pan add 1/ tsp oil add egg white prepare omelette.  Step 4 Toast the bread add egg white omelette in between make a sandwich.  Step 5 Serve hot.
