Flaxseed has anti-cancer properties. It contains omega-3 fatty acids and lignans. They are antioxidants which scavenge free radicals from our body. It also helps in lowering our blood sugar level. Flaxseeds contain compounds which are phytoestrogens which have a similar chemical structure to estrogen present in our body. So, this tea can be consumed by menopausal women.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Flaxseeds [whole or ground] - 2 tsp 
  • Cinnamon powder - ¼ tsp 
  • Lemon juice - ½ tsp 
  • Water [boiling water] - 1 cup
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Add 2 teaspoon of whule or ground flaxseed in about 1 cup of boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes.  Step 2 Strain the hot liquid and add cinnamon powder and lemon juice.
