Fruit custard is a healthy dessert as it is made of milk which is a source of calcium and protein. Addition of fruits imparts a good texture and taste. It shall ensure your sweet cravings are taken care of. It is also loaded with essential nutrients like vitamins A, C, K and minerals like magnesium, phosphorus and dietary fiber.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Milk - 1 cup [100ml]
  • Custard powder - 1 tsp
  • Fruits [Apple, pear, and pomegranate] -  ½ cup 
  • Nuts [Almonds/ Walnuts] - ½ tsp 
  • Banana [mashed] - 1 tbsp
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Mix 1 tsp of custard powder with 2 tbsp. of lukewarm milk and make a smooth paste so that it does not form lumps.  Step 2 Boil the remaining milk. Step 3 Add the custard paste into the milk and stir continuously until it becomes thick.  Step 4 Let it coul. Add fruits, mashed banana, and nuts. Serve chilled.
