Khyati's Health-O-Meter Says:

A grilled chicken sandwich is a good source of protein, carbohydrate, vitamins, and minerals. It is also healthier than a fried chicken sandwich because grilling uses less oil than deep-frying, meaning fewer calories and fat in the final product. Create an even healthier grilled chicken sandwich by utilizing nutrient-dense ingredients whenever possible and monitoring the use of unhealthy toppings and condiments.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Brown bread slices - 2 slices
  • Chicken boiled and shredded - 50 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder - ½ tsp.
  • Tomato ketchup - ¼ tsp.
  • Lettuce leaves - 1-2 leaves
  • Tomatoes sliced - 4-5 slices
  • Cucumber sliced - 7-8 slices
  • Vinaigrette dressing - 1 tsp
  • Herbs - 1- 1½ tsp.

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Take shredded chicken in a bowl. Add salt, pepper powder, vinaigrette dressing, herbs, tomato ketchup, torn lettuce, and mix.  Step 2 Take a brown bread slice, spread some chicken mix add tomatoes & cucumber slices on top.  Step 3 Grill the sandwiches.  Step 4 Do not apply butter or mayonnaise.  Step 5 Relish a healthy grilled chicken sandwich.
