Mixed Vegetable Medley

A basic way to make your salad fast and easy is by sauteing them lightly, cooking vegetables in the microwave and garnishing it with a dash of vinegar dressing, hence making it colourful with just the right amounts of appetizing flavours. While you relish the vegetables loaded with antioxidants, the addition of vinegar in the right amounts provides an alternative to fats and sodium thus increasing the calcium absorption and helping the body to become more receptive to insulin.

Super Immunity Booster

Khyati's Health-O-Meter Says: Carom seeds have powerful antifungal and antibacterial properties. Turmeric has an anti-inflammatory effect and helps in managing liver disease, pain,  cough, congestion, and digestion. Honey is rich in antioxidants which help in controlling blood pressure. Thus this healthy mixture can help keep our immune system strong and protect from many infections!

Barley is a complete healthy package of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Barley claims to be an excellent source of molybdenum, manganese, dietary fibre, and selenium, and a good source of copper, vitamin B1, chromium, phosphorus, magnesium, and niacin. Chickpea is low in GI, and high in protein and fibre too. It also helps to lower LDL cholesterol (bad) and has a great satiety value too.
