Walnuts are a rich source of healthy fat, antioxidants, and fiber which enables the body to absorb the nutrients more effectively and also helps in preventing cancer, reducing cholesterol and blood pressure. Oats are high in soluble fiber and beta-glucan which aid in constipation relief and cholesterol reduction. Also, the recipe has the goodness of milk protein and vitamins, and minerals. 

INGREDIENTS:
  • Water - ½  cup 
  • Coffee powder - 1 tsp
  • Oats - 2 tsp 
  • Dates - 1 no. 
  • Skim milk - 1 ½  cup [150 ml]
  • Walnut - 2 nos.
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 In a bowl, soak oats, 1 date, and walnuts in ½  cup of water for 30 minutes. Step 2 In a blender, take 1 cup milk, and 1 tsp coffee powder and blend the soaked mixture together. You can adjust the coffee powder as per your liking. Step 3 You can add 1 tsp soaked chia seeds to the smoothie and serve immediately!
