Makhanas are a good source of proteins, and many essential micronutrients like calcium, magnesium, iron, and phosphorus. This dish includes pomegranates which are rich in Vitamin C, E, K and has antioxidant benefits. Cherry tomatoes are rich in lycopene, meaning, it can be anti-inflammatory and support heart health. Yellow corns are an exceptional source of fibers. This particular dish is a wholesome meal, nutritionally dense, and loaded with mouth-watering spices, which have health benefits too! INGREDIENTS:

  • Crispy Roasted Makhana- 15g
  • Peanuts- 1 tsp
  • Roasted chana  - 2 tsp
  • Mix Sprouts - 1 tbsp
  • Pomegranate / pineapple/berries - 4 tbsp
  • Corn [optional] - 1 tsp
  • Basil leaves- few [chopped]
  • Cherry Tomatoes [halved] - few 
  • Dried mixed herbs - As per taste
  • Chilli flakes- ¼ tsp

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Dry Roast the Makhana in minimal oil and add in some turmeric and salt. Step 2  In a mason jar or a glass, take makhana, add in pomegranates, chana, and peanuts, mix sprouts, corn, basil leaves, and cherry tomatoes as part of basic Italian ingredients. Step 3 Add in some chili flakes and Italian herb spice mix and mix well. Step 4  Enjoy the burst of flavors with this healthy snack!
