A healthy Lebanese dish with feta cheese and chicken making it a double protein-rich dish.Jalapeno is rich in vitamin C. Garlic contains useful minerals such as phosphorous, calcium, and iron, as well as trace minerals like iodine, sulfur, and chlorine.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Pita bread - 2 nos
  • For the Chicken filling:
  • Shredded chicken [boiled with 1 tsp salt and a pinch of turmeric] - 75 g 
  • Pepper (crushed) - a pinch 
  • Green chilies (crushed) - 1-2 nos.
  • Cumin (crushed) - a pinch 
  • Garlic (crushed) - 2-4 cloves
  • Jalapenos (drained & finely sliced) - 2-3 nos. 
  • Feta cheese - 1 tsp 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 In a bowl add the shredded chicken, jalapenos, feta cheese, salt, pepper, green chilies, cumin, and garlic. Mix them well.  Step 2 Cut a pocket in the pita and fill with chicken mixture. Warm on a pan and serve.
