Khakhra Pizza is an easy-to-make snack recipe that you can prepare for your loved ones on occasion like a birthday party, kitty party or have it as an evening snack. This vegetarian recipe can be made in just 20-minutes and it requires very less cooking. Instead of a plain flour base, this pizza uses nutritious homemade whole wheat khakhras with the goodness of veggies. Try this easy and delicious recipe and enjoy it with your friends and family.

INGREDIENTS:
            For the base:
  • Whole wheat khakhra - 1
  • Green chutney - 1 tbsp
            For the Topping:
  • Onion [finely chopped] - 2 tbsp
  • Capsicum [finely chopped] - 2 tbsp
  • Cabbage [shredded] - 2 tbsp
  • Carrot [shredded] - 2 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper [freshly ground powder] - ¼ tsp
  • Salt - as per taste
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions, capsicum and cabbage and saute on a medium flame for 2 minutes or till they turn light and translucent. Step 2 Just before serving, place a khakhra on a serving plate, spread the green chutney evenly, take a portion of the topping and add it, garnish it with ½ tbsp of cottage cheese and 1 tbsp shredded carrot, you can add oregano and chilli flakes for the authentic flavour of pizza. Step 3 Serve it immediately.
