Makhana spread is a delicious blend of protein, calcium and fiber. It helps in maintaining blood pressure, prevents arthritis and slows down the aging process due to the presence of flavonoids in it. INGREDIENTS:
  • Roasted makhanas - 30 g
  • Hung curd - 2 tsp
  • Dill leaves - to garnish
  • Pepper - ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Dry roast 30g makhanas for 2-3 minutes, allow it to coul down. Step 2 Now soak them in water for 5 minutes Step 3 Blend in a mixer to a smooth paste with water, keep aside. Step 4 How to Proceed: Step 5 Combine the hung curd and the prepared makhana paste, in a bowl and mix well using a whisk. Step 6 Add the dill leaves, salt, and pepper and mix well. Step 7 Serve chilled with pita bread or lavash.
