Makhana spread is a delicious blend of protein, calcium and fiber. It helps in maintaining blood pressure, prevents arthritis and slows down the aging process due to the presence of flavonoids in it. Hung curd is a probiotic, rich source of calcium and hence is excellent for digestion. It also improves your immune system and helps in weight loss. Dill leaves are antioxidants and a great source of vitamin C, vitamin A and magnesium that reduces the risk of cancer and heart diseases.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Roasted makhanas - 30 g
  • Hung curd - 2 tsp
  • Dill leaves - to garnish
  • Pepper - ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Dry roast 30g makhanas for 2-3 minutes, allow it to coul down. Step 2 Now soak them in water for 5 minutes Step 3 Blend in a mixer to a smooth paste with water, keep aside. Step 4 How to Proceed: Step 5 Combine the hung curd and the prepared makhana paste, in a bowl and mix well using a whisk. Step 6 Add the dill leaves, salt, and pepper and mix well. Step 7 Serve chilled with pita bread or lavash.
