Thai or Oriental vegetable salad is fresh and refreshingly different, bursting with texture and 4 flavours-sweet, salty, sour and spicy hence creating harmony between them. This fresh and filling salad provides healthy nutrients to keep your skin glowing, teeth dazzling and lustrous hair. The use of fresh vegetables and spices has natural healing properties and boosts immunity. It is known that consuming flavonoid-rich foods lower cardiovascular diseases.


  • Spring onions with greens  [chopped] - 2 nos.
  • Button mushrooms  [chopped] - 4 nos.
  • Zucchini  [chopped] - 2 tbsp 
  • Red capsicum  [chopped] - 2 tbsp 
  • Carrot [chopped] - 1 tsbp
  • Bean sprouts [raw] - 30 g
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Sugar - ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice  - 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • Iceberg lettuce [whole] - 2 leaves

Step 1 Mix spring onions with greens, cut mushrooms, julienne zucchini, julienne red capsicum, grated carrot and bean sprouts in a bowl.  Step 2 Add salt, sugar, lemon juice, soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, and peanuts.  Step 3 Add the torn iceberg leaves just before serving.
