Khyati's Health-O-Meter Says:

Yogurt has probiotics, beneficial bugs that live in your digestive tract and helps to eliminate microorganisms that can cause intestinal infections. It is also a significant source of potassium, phosphorous, riboflavin, iodine, zinc, and vitamin B5. Pomegranates are loaded with polyphenols that have powerful antioxidant properties. Antioxidants prevent free radical damage of the walls of arteries, thus preventing heart disease.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Chilled yogurt, dairy or vegan - 30 gm
  • Fresh pomegranate arils/anardana - 20 gm
  • Roasted cumin powder - ½ tsp
  • Black pepper powder - ½ tsp

  • Chaat masala powder (optional) - ½ tsp
  • Black salt or rock salt (add rock salt if making for fasting or vrat) - a pinch
  • Coriander or mint leaves - 1 tsp for garnish
