Raw banana is a good source of fiber, vitamins and minerals, and contain a high amount of resistant starch. Corn flakes have a very high iron content which helps keep the brain alert and helps to maintain healthy blood levels.  

INGREDIENTS:
  • Raw bananas - 1 no.
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp 
  • Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
FOR THE BATTER
  • Corn flour - 1 tbsp.
  • Green Chillies Paste - ½ tsp. 
  • Salt to taste
OTHER INGREDIENTS
  • Corn Flakes/Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs for coating [finely crushed] - 15 g
  • Oil -  ½ tsp. 

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Cut the bananas into half and then cut each half into 3 wedges. Step 2 Mix the raw bananas in a bowl with red chilly powder and chaat masala. Step 3 Steam the wedges for 5 minutes either in a steamer or in a pan, take water and boil it. Then put the wedges in a steaming plate and place the steaming plate in the pan. After the steaming is done, leave aside to coul. Step 4 Mix all the ingredients of the batter along with some water to form a thick paste. Step 5 Dip the raw bananas in the batter and then rull out in the crushed corn flakes/bread crumbs to form a coating over it. Step 6 Bae in the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 20 minutes. Step 7 Yummy Crispy wedges are ready for serving.
