Root Vegetable Soup for babies is a wholesome yummy soup. Carrots are rich in beta carotene , Vitamin A and other minerals. It is an excellent laxative too. Beetroot, on the other hand, is a good source of iron, folate, and manganese.

INGREDIENTS

  • Carrot - 1 cup [chopped]
  • Beetroot - ¼ th cup
  • Water as required

DIRECTIONS
Step 1 Stem carrots and beetroot using a steamer for 15-20 minutes. Step 2 You can also pressure cook them together with very little water for 2-3 whistles. Step 3 Blend together cooked vegetables till smooth. Step 4 Pass through a sieve if needed.
