Sweet potatoes are rich in complex carbohydrates, dietary fiber, and beta-carotene. it is a healthy alternative to french fries.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Sweet potato, peeled - ½ medium [50 gm]
  • Cumin seeds, ground - ½ tsp
  • Chilli powder - ¼ tsp
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • Oil - ½ tsp, for brushing
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Heat oven to 375° F. Step 2 Cut sweet potato into the stick shape, add oil and mix thoroughly. Arrange sticks on the baking sheet in a single layer. Coat sticks lightly with cooking spray. Step 3 Bake for 7 minutes, or until starting to brown. Turn sweet potato sticks over and return to the oven. Bake until lightly browned, about 7 to 10 minutes more Step 4 Transfer sticks to a bowl. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the cumin, chilli powder, and salt. Step 5 Pour spice mixture over chips and toss well before serving.
