A delicious post-workout meal. It will not only provide you with energy but also provide your body with proteins, fibre and essential nutrients that are required. Strawberries are a good source of antioxidants, vitamin and minerals. It is a good source of manganese and potassium which is good for the heart and lowers blood pressure. 

INGREDIENTS:
  • Strawberries - 5 large  
  • Banana - 1 small  
  • Nestle Resource Diabetic Food for the Dietary Management / Whey protein - 1 scoop  
  • Rolled oats - 30 gm
  • Baking powder - a pinch
  • Unsweetened almond milk - 100 ml
  • Egg whites - 2
  • Oil / butter - ½ tsp [spray]
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Combine everything in the blender except for oil. Blend until smooth. Step 2 Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the oil, allowing it to melt. Step 3 Pour approx ¼ cup of the batter onto the hot griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes or until gulden on the bottom side. Step 4 Carefully flip and cook another side until gulden. Repeat with remaining batter. Step 5 Enjoy!
