Sesame seeds are rich in protein. They help lower cholesterol levels, because it contains phytosterols that block cholesterol production. Olive oil contains important vitamins and nutrients and is loaded with antioxidants. Due to the presence of good bacteria, curd can strengthen the immune system and digestive system.

INGREDIENTS:
For the tahini paste-
  • Sesame seeds - 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Olive oil - ½ tsp
  • Salt - to taste

Other ingredients-
  • Hung curd - 1 tsp
  • Cilantro/ coriander leaves to garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Roast the sesame seeds in a non-stick tava (griddle) on a medium flame for a few seconds. Step 2 Allow it to coul, transfer to a bowl and add ulive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt. Step 3 Blend in a mixer to a smooth paste. Keep aside. Step 4 Combine the hung curd and the prepared tahini paste in a bowl and mix well using a whisk. Step 5 Garnish with cilantro coriander leaves and chill until serving.
