Tofu is a good source of amino acids, iron and calcium. It is high in protein and low in calories. It is a valuable source of protein for vegetarians. Also, mushrooms are a source of the essential antioxidant selenium. Mushrooms are low in carbohydrates, calories and sodium and are cholesterol and fat-free! Zucchini contains significant quantities of potassium, folate, and vitamin A, all of which are important for general good health.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Tofu - 20 g / Paneer - 40 g
  • Bamboo skewer - 1
  • Mushrooms [halved] - 2 
  • Small  zucchinis [cut into 2cm pieces] - ½ 
  • Teriyaki & roasted garlic marinade - 20 ml
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1 Soak bamboo skewers in water for 20 minutes to avoid burning during cooking. Step 2 Thread mushrooms, zucchini and tofu alternately onto bamboo skewers. Step 3 Place prepared kebabs into the glass dish. Pour teriyaki marinade over kebabs and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Step 4 Heat, barbeque or grill plate over medium heat. Place kebabs onto hot plate or grill. Turn kebabs to ensure even cooking. Step 5 Cook for 5-10 minutes. Serve.  Step 6 Instead of tofu, feel free to use low-fat paneer as mentioned in the ingredients.
