During the wedding season, we all desire to look our best. However, it often happens that after attending a few functions, we unintentionally engage in "mindless eating," resulting in a weight gain of around 3-5 kgs within a couple of months.

Introducing "The Wedding Nutrition Guide to Eat Right & Enjoy the Celebration"

THIS GUIDE INCLUDES:

  • Tips for healthy eating.
  • A detailed before-after & during the wedding food guide. Not to forget the cocktails.

Let’s get started with General Guidelines during a wedding:

  • Stay away from anything that includes the words: stuffed, double, triple, crispy, etc.
  • Some salad dressings can make a salad unhealthy. Opt for non-cream-based, lite, or fat-free salad dressing or, just go with a small amount of olive oil & vinegar.
  • Sometimes, a soup & a salad may be enough to fill you.
  • Choose stewed, sauteed or grilled food instead of fried & baked.
  • Do not have fruit juices as they are high in carbohydrates & less in fiber, instead, have whole fruits.

BEFORE GOING TO THE WEDDING FUNCTION:
Eat one of these items before leaving for the function, this will ensure you don't go overboard with the feast there.

  • 1 roti & 1 Katori dal
  • 2 fruits
  • 1 bowl of vegetable raita

IDEAL FOODS TO BE PICKED AT A WEDDING:

  • Pulse/Legume salad like chana chaat etc.
