What You Need To Know About Garcinia Cambogia

Garcinia Cambogia comes from a tropical fruit grown in India & Southeast Asia also known as the Malabar tamarind which is a citrus fruit. It's mostly pinned on hydroxycitric acid (HCA), a substance found in garcinia Cambogia that appears to inhibit an enzyme called citrate lyase & interferes with fatty acid metabolism, aids weight loss.
Garcinia Cambogia is a small, pumpkin-shaped, yellow or greenish fruit. The fruit is so sour that it is generally not eaten fresh but rather used in cooking, hence supplements are made from the extract of the fruit’s peel.
Garcinia Cambogia is available in capsules, tablets, powders, & liquids.

 

It has been shown to affect appetite & weight regulation in two ways:

  1. Fat Production: It blocks the fat-producing enzyme Citrate lyase. This makes it harder for the body to produce fat.

  • Low blood sugar level: Garcinia Cambogia may lower blood sugar levels, so people who have diabetes should discuss with the diabetologist first before taking the supplement. 

  • Bloating & Constipation: Bloating & Constipation issues can also occur if you are having a fiber-rich diet along with the supplement too.

  • Restlessness & Sleeplessness: If the dosage of Garcinia Cambogia is high a person may feel restless or may experience insomnia ( sleepless night).
